SEND Learning at Stephenson Railway Museum

At Stephenson Railway Museum we are dedicated to supporting all learners including those who have special educational needs and disabilities. To support these learners we are keen to work in partnership with teaching staff to adapt as appropriate our core workshop offer to provide inclusive learning experiences

Our workshops encourage children to build their practical, visual and cognitive and communication skills and can be tailored to your history, and art and design curriculum.

Activities can include handling Victorian and engineering artefacts, dressing up and role play as well as design and craft workshops.
